- Description:
The blue and white porcelain vase is inserted with a branch of peony. This painting has no chronology, but it can be inferred from Lang Shining’s Song style inscription that it belongs to the work of Yongzheng. For the description of peony flowers, the outline is not emphasized as much as the Juruitu, and the method of applying color is also very similar. In addition, the treatment of light and shadow, as well as the mastery of glaze light of porcelain, all show the characteristics of the same era. The porcelain vase in the painting has two animal ears and the pattern is morning glory, which is very similar to the blue and white morning glory vase in the courtyard.
