After hearing about it from Yi Ying, the former minister of Lu, and Xiang Ping, the later minister, as well as Wu Xiong, the Situ disciple, and Zhao Jie, the Sikong disciple, he finally won the title of the sage Kong He, who was elected to take the post with his virtue and filial piety.
