  • Material: Mineral/ceramic/porcelain
  • Description:
Small round mouth, short neck, wide shoulders, long straight abdomen, shallow round feet, with beads and buttons. The whole vessel is decorated with blue and white flowers. The shoulder of the vessel is painted with a Ruyi pattern, the abdomen is painted with two peach fruits, pomegranates, lychees and other folded flowers, and the bottom is painted with a lotus petal pattern. The cover is painted with three bats, and the wall is painted with a simplified curly grass pattern (or hook cloud pattern). The glaze color is uniform and thick, and the texture is delicate. The blue and white script “made in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty” has six characters in regular script. In the Yongzheng period, there were also monochrome glazed celadon porcelains of this type, which were similar to tea cans in shape, but much higher than those of tea cans about 15cm high. This may be made for tea with more reserves.
