Straight mouth, short neck, plump shoulders, large abdomen, plump upper part and closed lower part, slightly convex near the foot, flat bottom, short circle foot, with arched round button cover. The whole vessel is decorated with blue and white flowers. The neck is painted with a simplified curly grass pattern, the shoulder is painted with four Ruyi patterns, the interior is painted with a lotus flower, the abdomen is painted with four groups of round flower patterns composed of bats and peaches, the bottom edge is painted with a double layer lotus petal pattern, and the cover is decorated with a blooming eight petal lotus pattern. The blue and white glaze is thick, the white glaze is slightly bluish, the body is fine and white, and the line of the body glaze of the inner foot wall is light orange. The blue and white book “made in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty” is a six character two line regular script with double green circles. This type of cover pot is often arranged together with the teapot in the Palace Painting of the Qing Dynasty (Xingle Tu). Its shape is similar to the Yixing teapot or tin teapot that also stored tea in the Qing Dynasty, so it is most likely to be the teapot that stored tea.
