Lang Shining (1688-1766) Italian. At the age of 19, he joined the Catholic Jesuit Church as a monk, learning painting and architecture. He came to China to preach at the age of 27 and was summoned to the inner court to worship. He is good at drawing people, flowers and birds, especially horses.
