  • Description:. Huge size and magnificent momentum. After entering the Palace of Qing Dynasty, it was sorted out by the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and used as a screen with red sandalwood frames. The Emperor Qianlong chanted this instrument twice. In the 11th year of Qianlong’s reign (1746), he wrote the “Hanyu Screen Song”, which not only sings about the virtue of this instrument and jade, but also shows the emperor’s careful observation of its color and texture. Unable to destroy the surface of the jade, Zhang Ruoai was ordered to engrave the poem “Han Yu Screen Song” on the wooden shelf after writing in the style of the Yan stele. In the 19th year of Qianlong’s reign (1754), he also wrote “Chanting the Han Dynasty with Jade Screen and Folding the Rhyme of the Old Works”, and ordered the jade craftsman to engrave the poems of the 11th and 19th years on both sides of the jade plate. On the other side of the wooden frame are carved Liang Shizheng, Wang Youdun, Li Zongwan, Zhang Ruoai, Qiu Yuexiu
