- Description:
It is in the shape of a copper pot. The two sides of the neck are decorated with animal head rings. A string pattern is raised at the junction of the neck and shoulder. The ring clouds carved on the neck are arranged like a mountain, and Ruyi cloud patterns are decorated up and down. The abdomen is decorated with chi patterns and ring cloud patterns, which are interspersed and combined at random. Although they have the quaint taste of ancient bronze, they also shape a new style of porcelain imitating copper. The bottom is connected with a short circle of feet, and the foot wall is exposed. The face is decorated with wavy lines. The whole body is covered with light pink blue glaze. The blue and white seal script “made in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty” is painted on the bottom. Although the originality of this work comes from the bronze ware, the craftsman has changed the original appearance of the bronze ware in the process of archaizing, added the up-to-date glaze color, and made a complete connection between the new glaze color and the ancient ware shape through the steps of kneading mud and transforming and kiln fire barbecue, showing a lively interest that can be extended by tracing the cross material.
