The shouldered flat pot is based on the filigree enamel, the curly grass, and the lotus pattern. The western mother and son are painted in the double-sided Begonia style openning enamel. On both sides, there are four openings, with rouge red enamel painted on the western landscape. On the bottom, there is a blue version of the Song typeface “Made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong” in the blue two side box. With carved coral top cover and tooth spoon. Combining the two techniques of oriental filigree enamel and western painting enamel, the Chinese and western styles are skillfully integrated in shaping and decoration.
