- Description:
Slightly waste mouth, cut shoulders, round belly bulge out, ring feet turn outward, near the bottom edge of the wall straight, double ring ears, each with a living ring. The neck is decorated with two S-shaped patterns of ground reducing lines, and the belly is decorated with a light embossed rope pattern. At the bulge of the belly, a ring pattern is also lightly embossed at the intersection to connect the rope pattern. The whole device shares four pieces of bamboo, which are carved separately: the ring foot and the bottom are carved from a section of bamboo with a bamboo partition; The body is carved with another section of bamboo from the mouth edge to the bottom of the twine pattern, and the belly is taken out, so that the thickness of the belly is close to the mouth wall; The ring shaped ears with living rings are carved from small pieces of bamboo. At the time of the Qianlong and Jiaqing Dynasties in the Qing Dynasty, epigraphy flourished, and the bamboo carving industry also began to copy gold and stone, or carve inscriptions on gold and stone, or carve the shapes of ancient objects. This “carved bamboo imitation ancient ripple shaped pot” is a bamboo carving art that imitates the shapes and patterns of bronze objects in the Warring States Period.
