In addition to the cicadas used for funerals, there were also jade cicadas specially worn by nobles in the Han Dynasty. These jade cicadas were made of good materials and of fine workmanship, and they had perforations through the top and bottom to facilitate threading and hanging. Although this piece is slightly whitened, and some parts are light brown, it can still see the white and dense original jade.
