The shin horn is mostly a perforated horn made of the thigh bone of a woman who died of dystocia. Its mouth is either wrapped with copper wire or covered with a metal sheath. The sound it makes can please all the angry gods and scare away all the evil spirits and demons. Therefore, Yogis, great achievers and other secret practitioners often use it.
