It can be seen from the neatly arranged grain patterns that they were originally works from the mid Warring States Period to the mid Western Han Dynasty. A number of grain patterns on the circumference were replaced by inscribed circles, which was the result of a specific process at this time. The edge of the left and right bottom edges of the jade honing is not in harmony with the grain pattern, which is the reason why the Ming Dynasty divided a piece of jade into two pieces of jade honing and trimmed the opposite edge
