The picture of the river during the Qingming Festival is a very popular subject in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1234). Among them, Zhang Zeduan is most famous for the picture of the river during the Qingming Festival. He used the Qingming Festival as an introduction to make detailed drawings of Bianjing. It is a masterpiece of realistic genre painting, loved by all generations, and there are many imitations, the most famous of which is the Qingming River Picture.
