Square mouth, The neck is tied and the feet are circled, which is the back pot shape with one side flat and one side slightly drum. The shoulder is equipped with double loop ears with rope patterns, the body is decorated with rope patterns, and the feet are decorated with rope patterns. The shape and system of this instrument are similar to those of the clay (M1405:2) unearthed in Tieling, Xinzheng, Henan Province and the clay (M251:625) unearthed in Zhao Qing’s tomb, Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The Ancient Manual of the Western Qing Dynasty calls this vessel a pot. Here, according to the self named vessel (M1:2) of the same kind unearthed in Xiaojiahe, Yunxian County, Hubei Province, it is called a “dou”. The outer bottom of the utensil is marked with Qinggong yellow label “Chong No. 55”
