Zun wine vessel of Xing Ji Shi, mid Western Zhou period, 956-858 BCE

    Open the mouth, bulge the belly, and encircle the foot. The mouth edge is decorated with a Kui pattern of leaning leaves, the neck is decorated with a bird pattern, the middle is decorated with two sacrificial heads, the belly is decorated with four curly tail phoenix patterns, and the feet are decorated with two string patterns. The inscription has two lines and six characters, which are on the inner bottom of the vessel. It was recorded in “Zhou Xing Ji Zun” on page 23 of volume 3 of “Ning Shou Jian Gu”
