The mother of pearl is made by weaving iron wire or rattan into a double dustpan, wrapping it with silk or satin, and fixing it with hairpins of various colors. The phoenix mother of pearl, the full mother of pearl, and the half mother of pearl are respectively nine, eight, and five according to etiquette. In addition to the top and the mouth of the mother of pearl, the top row of this double happiness character full mother of pearl is composed of seven square mother of pearl ornaments, three round mother of pearl ornaments in the center, and one long oval mother of pearl ornaments on both sides and the lower side. Each mother of pearl ornament is based on the flowing cloud pattern made of silver plated gold sheet hammer, with coral double happiness characters embedded on it. The heart of the character is decorated with East Pearl. Although the pattern is full, the pattern is arranged in an orderly way. The mouth of the mother of pearl pendant tassels, half covering the forehead of the wearer, appears lively and implicit. The emerald is bright in dark and light colors.
