Bian Wenjin (active from 1403-1428), with the word Jingzhao, was born in Shaxian County, Fujian Province. The court painter of the Yongle Dynasty was granted the official title of waiting imperial edict in the Wuying Hall during the Xuande reign. He is good at painting flowers, fruits, feathers and feathers. He is the most famous painter of flower and bird painting among court painters in the early Ming Dynasty. He, together with Jiang Zicheng, who is good at painting landscapes, and Zhao Lian, who is good at painting tigers, is known as the “Three Wonders in Forbidden China”.
