- Description:
This is a folding fan album. It was written on April 4, 1592, when Dong Qichang was sent to Wuchang to confer the title of King of Chu. In the painting, the style of Ni Zan is imitated, and the rugged rocks are made by folding bands. Several miscellaneous trees on the platform cover the lonely empty pavilion, and the poems inscribed on Ni Zan’s “Autumn Forest Painting” hidden by Dong are recorded. However, the painting is light in color and slightly changes the stable composition of “one river and two banks”. The empty pavilion platform in the foreground connects with the main mountain to form a mountain leaning to the left. The distant mountains on the opposite bank also stand in parallel at the top right of the picture. While continuing Ni Zan’s ethereal and precipitous style, it also injects new momentum.
