Shen Can (1379-1453. The two brothers recommended the scholar of Chinese calligraphy for their excellent calligraphy. Shen Can’s cursive script got its way from the two Wangs. At the same time, taking into account the experience of Song Ke and Shen Du, the cursive script occasionally rose in waves. This vertical scroll records a poem “imitating ancient poetry” written by Gao Qi, a poet in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties. It is thin and vigorous, with a large cursive style. It is slightly similar to Huaisu’s wild cursive style. It can be seen that Shen Canxing’s cursive script was not just a school of his own.
