Shangxi (the 15th century) was a court painter of the Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong, he was consecrated to the imperial court and granted the position of commander of the Royal Guards. This is a birthday celebration picture. Combining four figures from Buddhism and Taoism, Li Tieguai, Liu Haichan, Han Shan and Shi De, in the same picture, all four people focus their eyes on the center of the picture and ride a crane to fly the Antarctic immortal (birthday star).
