The peaks are steep, and the hundred zhang high waterfall turns down from the rock gap to the turbulence. The smoke and clouds at the foot of the mountain change, separating the middle and long view. Close up, two miscellaneous trees on the bank recline between the rock crevices, with luxuriant branches and leaves. Under the trees, the high-ranking scholars watch the waterfall, and the child servants follow. Painted mountains and rocks are carved with an axe, inheriting the tradition of horse painting in the Southern Song Dynasty and that in the Xia Dynasty, and integrating the painting techniques of Zhou officials. The method of drawing leaves and using point leaves and clip leaves has various shapes and density levels. According to the characteristics of painting style, it is speculated to be about 45 years old.
