- Description:
The mouth is slightly extravagant, the wall is deep and curved, the upper part is rich and the lower part is closed, the bottom is sharp, and the foot is short. It is called a lotus seed bowl. The outer wall of the bowl is a lotus petal, the inner wall mouth is surrounded by a circle of ripples, and the center of the bowl has five sunflower patterns. In contrast to the stipulation that the imperial palace should first decide the sample making when making vessels for use in the 26th year of Hongwu’s reign, we can see that in the early Ming Dynasty, the craftsmen in Jingdezhen and Longquan Kiln achieved their goals by printing, painting with cobalt, or painting.
