- Description:
In the early Ming Dynasty, the imperial court had contacts with Central Asia and Western Asia. The shape and decoration of porcelain also reflected the exchange. Many shapes and decorative patterns with Islamic culture came into being. The shape of the long necked pot imitated the brass and pottery of Central Asia. The mouth has a round edge, a long straight neck, flat shoulders, a long barrel shaped abdomen, slightly retracted downward, and a short circle of feet. There is a long flow in front of the neck, the inner edge of the flow mouth is shaped like a gourd, and the back is shaped like a flat handle. The shoulders are round, the belly is not bright, and the decorations are full of tangled camellia, rose, hibiscus, peony, lotus, chrysanthemum, okra, gardenia, pomegranate and other patterns. The feet are glazed inside, without entertainment. The blue and white layout and brushwork on the lid are obviously different from those on the body, which should be matched in the Qing Dynasty. It can be seen that the shape and decorative pattern of the vessels are similar to those of the vessels unearthed in Jingdezhen and handed down from ancient times, but the bottom of the vessels is marked with “Xuande Nian of the Ming Dynasty”
