  • Description:
The mouth of the flat pot is extravagant, with a short neck, a flat round abdomen, oval feet, and a flat bottom. The mouth of the dragon shaped flat pot is painted with twig flower and leaf patterns, the neck is painted with winding flower and leaf patterns, and both sides of the abdomen are painted with a three claw dragon flying in the clouds. The appearance and posture of the dragon are similar to those of the dragon on the celestial sphere bottle with lotus and dragon patterns. The upper jaw of the dragon is raised, the tongue is exposed, the hair whiskers are fluttering, and the posture is high. The other two flat pots with twisted flower patterns have curly leaf patterns at the bottom of the mouth, twisted flower patterns at the neck, and the body is decorated with twisted flower patterns. The fetal bodies of the three groups are thick and heavy, and obvious contact marks can be seen on the body. A blue and white dragon shaped flat pot carved on the waves was unearthed in Jingdezhen, while a similar one was found in Indonesia.
