Wu Bin (active from 1568 to 1627), in his words, the first composition is the middle, and the first is the quality. People from Putian, Fujian, later moved to Jinling (now Nanjing). He is good at painting landscapes, flowers and birds, and Buddhist figures. This is the 22nd picture of the “Twenty five Perfections of Shurangama”. Guanyin Bodhisattva is wearing a white towel and a white robe. He is sitting facing the river and is lying on his feet. The bamboo forest behind him is thick. The color of the whole painting is fresh and elegant, the figure body is elongated, and the lines of the clothes are smooth as flowing clouds and flowing water, but they are undulating like waves, which adds a lot of deformation interest to the painting.
