- Description:
The peaks and ridges are stacked, the trees are dense, and the waterfalls are flying in the sky. The composition of the whole painting is tight, and the cattle hair chap is used to describe the mountains and rocks. The strokes are thick and mellow, similar to Wang Meng’s style. In terms of business position, it is somewhat similar to Shen Zhou’s “Lushan Mountain is High”, and even the technique of inscribing “Lushan Mountain is High” in seal script is similar to Shen Zhou’s works. However, the rocks on the mountain in the painting are distorted, like cirrus clouds, which are quite dynamic; The close shot, middle shot and long shot of the mountains are dark and dark, without too many changes in color, fully showing Ding’s own face.
