The copper gilded round box with short legs and thick matrix is decorated with filigree enamel. The lid and the body cast a shallow relief plump eight lotus petals. Inside the petals, there is a light blue lotus on the ground. On the flat lid, there is a lotus pattern with blooming flowers. The lines are neat, and the glaze layer is bright and deep. The inside and bottom of the box are plain gold plated, and the inside of the box is engraved with a single line regular script made in Jingtai year of the Ming Dynasty. It should be a representative artifact made during the Jingtai period (1450-1456).
