  • Description:
    There are two, three or four ring tie ears on the shoulders, which is a feature of porcelain in Yongle period. This jar has a curled edge with a small mouth, a short straight neck, a round belly, and a flat bottom. There are two ring ears on the shoulder. With flat top, straight wall, and a calyx shaped button on the lid. The whole vessel is applied with moistening white glaze, and the abdomen is lightly decorated with six four season flowers. Cover with shallow lotus flowers, and there is a circle of curly grass patterns on the edge of the cover. A small white glazed pot with similar shape but no collar on the shoulder can be seen in the water products of Xin’an Shenchuan. The small blue and white vase with twining branches and lotus patterns without a cover was unearthed from the Zhushan Site in Jingdezhen.
