Description:
The mouth is slightly sloped, the wall is deep and inclined, the belly is cut down from the top, and the foot is short. On the inner wall of the bowl, the cone arch is twined with a lotus flower pattern, on which are decorated with Buddhist eight treasures, which are arranged equidistant on the wall. The bowl heart cone arch seal character “Yongle Nian” is a four character double line concealed style, with a cloud pattern around it. The inner and outer walls of the whole vessel are covered with sweet white glaze. The fetal bone is very thin, which is known as semi bodiless because of its light transmission. The inner wall decoration can be seen from the outer wall. A circle of yellowish brown fetus is exposed at the foot end of the ring foot. This document has the label number “213” of London Exhibition, and was loaned to London, England, to participate in The International Exhibition of Chinese Art, London (1935-6) from 1935 to 1936.
