The decorative techniques of blue and white and yellow color vessels began in the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty. This plate has a curved wall, a flat bottom, and a round foot. The bottom of the plate is decorated with blue and white regular script, which is made in Xuande year of the Ming Dynasty. The decoration sequence is to first use blue and white cobalt materials to depict the broken branch gardenia on the inner bottom, the four kinds of pomegranates, persimmons, grapes and lotus seeds on the inner wall, and the seven branches of peony on the outer wall. After firing at high temperature, fill the blank with yellow glaze and burn it at low temperature for two times. Blue and white and yellow colored porcelain is a kind of porcelain that was continuously fired in the official kilns of the Ming Dynasty. Similar works were produced in the later Chenghua, Hongzhi and Zhengde periods.
