- Description:
The Collection of Stone Canal Treasures is a selected catalogue of calligraphy and painting collections in the palace. It was compiled in the eighth year of Qianlong’s reign and completed in the ninth year of Qianlong’s reign. Depending on the order of the collection, the records are also detailed and simple. “Superior” people, such as Chen Yue’s “sketching flowers” in the Ming Dynasty, record in detail the size, texture, subject matter, content, entertainment, imprints, inscriptions and postscripts, and other information. At the same time, they can also be used as exclusive brocade bags and wooden boxes for carving names.
