Description:
The round ink is printed on both sides to show the children playing in the garden. The composition is based on the trees and stones in the foreground to lead to a close view. Through the middle view and the long view of the building area, nearly 100 children are distributed in groups in a small round space from the front, middle and back in a horizontal band, which is dense. The ink mold is exquisite, and the rounded curved surface is good at expressing the three-dimensional sense of the human body. The eyebrows and eyes are delicate, the expression is vivid, the posture is flexible, and the atmosphere is full of excitement. On the walls on both sides of the ink are printed in regular script: “In the first year of the apocalypse, ink was collected in the Cangcang room”, and “Ye Xuanqing, the new capital, followed the Yishui law”. Ye Xuanqing was a famous Mohist in the late Ming Dynasty. This work was signed in the first year of Tianqi (1621), and the pattern is almost the same as the “Hundred Children Painting” of “Cheng’s Ink Garden”. The ink body is broad, the appearance is firm, and the quality is excellent.
