The center of the plate is flat, the wall is slightly arc round, and the mouth is turned outward. There is a circle of blue and white Tibetan on the inner edge of the mouth. The center of the plate is painted with three layers of lotus flowers and two pairs of mandarin ducks. One is bent from the air, the other is playing on the water, and the other two are swimming around, decorated with water plants. The outer wall is surrounded by four lotus flowers and two pairs of mandarin ducks, each of which swims alone. Part of the outline of the underglaze blue and white painting is combined with the overglaze color painting of red, green, brown and other glazes to form a bright and colorful picture of mandarin ducks in the lotus pond. This method of painting the key half outline with blue and white and adding appropriate colors to form a complete picture is called “Doucai” in Jiangxi dialect. There are blue and white double circles of “Ming Dynasty Chenghua Annual System” in its circle. In terms of porcelain, the composition of the mandarin duck lotus pond can be seen in Ding and Yaozhou kilns of the Song Dynasty and blue and white porcelain in Jingdezhen of the Yuan Dynasty.
