Description:
This small, bell-shaped, porcelain wine cup has a handle in the form of a chi dragon, with a bifurcated tail, biting the rim and holding it with his left paw. The dragon is covered with an emerald green glaze while the cup is painted in contrasting monochrome yellow. Such forms are more familiarly fashioned in jade and indicate an interest in archaism.
