Description:
Porcelain water-pot of depressed globular form with rounded sides, incurving mouth and slightly sunk base. The water-pot has a fine, thin, white body. There are gnarled boughs of the blossoming prunus tree in black, brown and ‘famille rose’ palette enamel on the exterior.

This was the studio name of a woman scholar Sun Sunyi, alias Xiufen, native of Renhe. She was alive about 1819. Porcelain with fencai (powdered colours) Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province 江西省, 景德鎮Qing dynasty, about AD 1800–1911 PDF 866冬梅圖水丞此水丞器底雙方框內署四字藍料款“貽硯齋藏”(意為贈送硯臺之書齋)。此齋堂號屬於一位女學者孫蓀意,字秀芬,仁和人,活躍於約1819年前後。瓷器,粉彩江西省景德鎮清代,約1800-1911年
