Description:
Stand with openwork sides, incised decoration and green glaze. This openwork stand has a cut-out base and mouth and around the side are four lobed openings and three small holes. Double incised lines highlight the contours of the openings and it is covered in a dull green glaze.

Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:Franks suggested that the stand was made to support a bowl, but it could equally have been made as a stand for a baluster vase. An identical example is in the Topkapi Saray Museum in Istanbul.
