Description:
Sherd (lid). Made of white glazed porcelain with a greenish tinge. Had a cut pattern – perhaps for an incense burner or pot pourri. Glazed both sides.

Comments:Original entry has 1974 as year of Acquisition, but there are sufficient Herzfeld find numbers to indicate all part of the Samarra collection.
