Description:
Wall sherd of a clay vessel with appliqué decoration. The vessel is decorated with broad and deeply incised lines. Additionally, a clay figurine was applied to the wall. It depicts a person kneeling on a lotus base with folded hands, possibly a worshipper. The person wears a long stole around the shoulders and a flat headdress consisting of a band with a flat jewel in front. The long hair seems curly and falls to the shoulders. The rather flat figurine was made using a mould and applied to the wall of the vessel before it was fired.
