Description:
Large vat with moulded decoration, cream glaze and iron-brown edge. This heavily potted round vat has a thickened overhanging rim and applied decoration beneath an uneven cream-coloured glaze. It is glazed inside and ten large spur marks are clearly visible at the bottom. The base is not glazed. Beneath the rim, which is painted dark brown, is a band of relief dental decoration. Around the body are stylized lotus flowers.
