Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:’Rolwagen’ is a Dutch term for a cylindrical vase. These were first made in China in the mid seventeenth century. Heavily potted and painted with violet-blue cobalt, this is a typical product made for export in the late Chongzhen era.
