Description:
Small baluster-shaped porcelain vase. Two incised and carved circular floral panels on body, one lotus and one peony, alternating with two butterflies and two lingzhi fungi. Covered with light cobalt blue glaze fading at the mouth. Foot-ring unglazed. Clear glaze on base, with inscription.

The vase is covered with a cobalt blue glaze. The base carries an underglaze blue inscription which reads 宣和年製 (Xuanhe nian zhi ‘made in the Xuanhe reign’).
