Description:
This tiny porcelain vase has a compressed globular body, long neck indented in four places and a recessed base. Outside it is painted in doucai enamels with a dense design of formal flower scrolls and leaf scroll around the foot. On the base is a six character underglaze blue seal script mark in a double ring. This vase may have been used with a stopper as a medicine bottle but is too large for snuff.
