Description:
Carved ivory vase in the form of an archaistic bronze vessel with elephant head ring handles at the neck and lion head ring handles at the shoulder. The vase is intricately carved with two panels depicting luohan in a mountain landscape. The lid is surmounted by a Buddhist lion and the base is separate.
