The arms are “Barry of eight argent and gules overall a cross patonce sable, for Gower (pronounced ‘Gore’) quartering “Vert three laurel leaves or”, for Leverson (pronounced ‘Lewson’) and impaling Stewart, Earl of Galloway. Inscription. Made of enamelled porcelain.
