Description:
Wooden mousetrap. The trap consists of an elongated piece of carved wood, broader on one end and tapering at the other. A large hole was cut into the broader end and round about it five smaller holes can be seen. These were intended to hold pegs which were probably used to fix the necessary tackle, bait etc. A shallow groove runs along one side of the trap, crossing the large hole centrally.
