Description:
Swipe card with magnetic strip. One of three items from Tom’s World amusement arcade, Shanghai. To play in the arcade, customers pay for metal tokens (see 2010,4117.10) which they put into the coin-slots in the machines. Any winnings are paid out of the machine in the form of paper tickets (see 2010,4117.9) which come out of the machine on a continuous roll. The customer tears these paper tickets off and takes them to the cashier. The cashier runs them through a counting machine, and then prints the amount of credit on a swipe card (see 2010,4117.8). Credit can be accumulated several times. The swipe card can be exchanged at any time for a prize within the value of the credit, or retained for further use to win a larger value prize.
