Description:
A strip fragment of dark purple twill damask with a rectangular end of 6cm wide and a forked end, the longer tail of which has the width of 0.9cm. The pattern is a diamond constructed by 2/2 broken twill with a repeat of 0.6-0.7cm in warp direction and 0.5cm in weft direction. Weave structures: Warp: silk, Z twisted, single, dark purple, 28 ends/cm; Weft: silk, Z twisted, single, dark purple, 19 lats/cm. Weave structure: 2/2 broken twill forming a diamond pattern. 狹長形的暗花綾殘片，一端較寬，爲6cm；另一端裂成兩條，較長一條寬僅爲0.9cm。織物呈深紫色，以2/2破斜紋組織織出菱格紋樣，圖案循環較小，經向爲0.8-0.9cm，緯向爲0.7cm。 組織結構： 經線：絲，Z撚，單根排列，深紫色，28根/cm；緯線：絲，Z撚，單根排列，深紫色，19根/cm；組織：2/2破斜紋形成菱紋。
