Description:
These are two narrow strips of silk tapestry with floral pattern on a red ground. The pattern repeat is about 8.4 cm in the warp direction. Some flat gold strips, backed with paper, have been used for decoration. Weave structures: Warp: silk, Z-nS ply (n>2), single, white, 14 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, pale red, dark brown, white, dark blue, light blue, greenish blue and green etc., c.49 lats/cm; gold strip with paper substrate. Weave structure: 1/1 plain weave with discontinuous wefts. 狹長形緙絲帶，共兩條，在紅色地上以各色絲線緙織出小花紋樣，並在局部使用紙背的片金線以增強圖案的裝飾效果，推測圖案經向循環在8.4cm左右。 組織結構： 經線：絲，多根S撚絲線以Z撚併合，單根排列，白色，14根/cm；緯線：絲，無撚，淡紅、深棕、深藍、綠、淺藍、黃綠、白等色及紙背片金線，單根排列，約49根/cm；組織：1/1平紋，通經斷緯。
