Description:
There are five fragments of silk plain weave. Three of them were sewn together, the red as a decoration on the undyed and white. The other two are both undyed. Weave structures: a. Red silk plain weave Warp: silk, untwisted, single, red, 52 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, red, 26 lats/cm. Weave structure: 1/1 plain weave. b. Undyed silk plain weave Warp: silk, untwisted, single, undyed, 44 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, undyed, 26 lats/cm. Weave structure: 1/1 plain weave. c1-c3. White plain weave Warp: silk, untwisted, single, white, 46 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, white, 28 lats/cm.
