Description:
There is a total of four pieces of this yellow silk damask on tuill: one in the British Museum collection, the other three in the V&A collection. It is woven with spun silk threads and shows a lozenge pattern repeated 0.9 cm in the warp direction and 0.7 cm in the weft direction. It seems to have been glazed on one side. Weave structures: Warp: spun silk, Z twisted, single, yellow, 32 ends/cm; Weft: spun silk, Z twisted, single, yellow, 28 lats/cm. Weave structure: 2/2 diamond patterned twill damask. 暗花綾織物，黃色，以綿線織成，外觀較爲粗獷，菱形紋樣，圖案經向循環約爲0.9cm，緯向約爲0.7cm。共出4件，分別藏于大英博物館和V&A博物館（LOAN:STEIN.392）。 組織結構： 經線：綿線，Z撚，單根排列，黃色，32根/cm；緯線：綿線，Z撚，單根排列，黃色，28根/cm；組織：2/2菱形斜紋。
